From Rio to Dubai and London — this autumn, Global Ledger’s team joined the world’s most influential blockchain and regulatory events, sharing insights, building partnerships, and driving the conversation on compliance innovation.
Across four major events — Blockchain.RIO, Future Blockchain Summit, London Blockchain Conference, and the Expert Discussion on Virtual Assets in Ukraine — our team spotlighted the challenges behind the industry, key insights for the industry, and how Global Ledger can supports regulators, financial institutions, and virtual asset service providers (VASPs) in building a trusted blockchain ecosystem.
Representing Global Ledger, Goran Safar, Head of Sales, attended the Future Blockchain Summit, held on October 12–15, 2025, in Dubai, UAE. With more than 60,000 attendees from 180 countries and over 250 speakers, the summit united regulators, banks, investors, and Web3 builders exploring AI-driven fintech and regulatory technology.
For Global Ledger, the event marked a milestone — our first double-pod exhibition, showcasing GL Vision (Tracing) and GL Monitoring in live demonstrations.
Main insight: The summit showed how collaboration between technology providers and regulators defines the future of compliance.
Representing Global Ledger, Michele Brunelli, Business Development Manager, joined the London Blockchain Conference, held on October 22–23, 2025, in London, UK.
The UK’s largest enterprise blockchain event gathered over 5, 000 industry professionals to explore how blockchain, AI, and tokenization are reshaping finance, governance, and sustainability.
Sessions revealed how the industry is maturing beyond experimentation and turning regulation into an enabler of growth. The focus was on MiCA, AML alignment, and identity assurance — all critical pillars for VASPs entering regulated markets.
Key topics discussed:
Main insight: Regulation must evolve ahead of threats, and strong compliance will be the bridge between TradFi and Web3. The question has shifted from “Why blockchain?” to “How can we implement it securely and at scale?”
Representing Global Ledger, Vladyslav Tsvirkun, Vice President of Law Enforcement & Enterprise Relationships, took part in the closed expert discussion “To Be or Not to Be — The Future of the Virtual Asset Market in Ukraine,” held on October 29, 2025, in Kyiv.
The event, organized by the Center for Democracy and Rule of Law and the Center for Financial Integrity with support from the EU and international foundations, brought together policymakers, regulators, and civil-society representatives to discuss Ukraine’s draft law No. 10225-d.
Vladyslav emphasized that Ukraine’s crypto market is already active. The next step is to build clear and enforceable regulation around it. He stressed the need for early licensing and structured oversight to strengthen national security and ensure fair taxation.
Key discussion points:
Main insight: Effective oversight will position Ukraine as a leader in transparent, secure digital-asset regulation — strengthening both trust and economic stability.
Representing Global Ledger, Zuzanna Kolucka, Business Development Team Leader, joined Latin America’s largest blockchain and digital finance summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The conference strongly focused on regulatory evolution and compliance innovation in Latin America, particularly Brazil’s upcoming framework for virtual asset service providers.
Key topics discussed:
Main insight: As regulation catches up with innovation, transparent and automated compliance is becoming the key competitive advantage for VASPs in LATAM.
Across all four events, one idea resonated clearly: Compliance is no longer just about regulation — it’s about building trust, resilience, and long-term growth.
The conversations in Rio, Dubai, London, and Kyiv showed that the industry is entering a new phase — where innovation and compliance move forward together.
For VASPs, regulators, and financial institutions, this shift means focusing not only on meeting standards but on shaping them — through transparency, collaboration, and technology that makes compliance part of progress, not a barrier to it.
